pretty interesting; have you created the effect to make the image (from 16mm film in 35mm scanner - is that correct ?) to look like the large format contact print or something else? either way, it looks good

Dave, I'm buying Imagelink HQ, 35mm format, in 30m rolls from a dealer in Germany anf fill blank catridges. The developer is SPUR ImageSpeed, which allows the use of ImageLink for pictorial photography. As a microfilm, ImageLink has a rather low speed - 25 ASA - but extremely high resolution, which makes the 35mm look like a large format neg. At 4000 dpi scan resolution, there's not much difference to a 4x5" contact print. The frame is photoshopped.

Thanks for technical info & explanation, Johann. Yes, the obvious resolution is striking and caught my eye , the Photoshop frame is pretty convincing too; good work!

Hi Johann I am glad I stumbled to your photos today. This photo is amazing! The frame works for me but I think that the sharpness of the black frame should be avoided and done the way you did the top right side of the photo throughout the whole frame. I would crop out the left side untill you take out the light in the background. I will now go and search for this camera you used.
