je ne regrette rien 67 Posted January 4, 2012 Beautiful subject and background, the only critical element I see it the cut-off mountain: I would have left at least a little bit of sky above it.L Link to comment
rapo 0 Posted January 5, 2012 I focused more on the street scene than o the landscape, but you may be right. Link to comment
Jack McRitchie 150 Posted January 5, 2012 I think this is a very good blending of the exotic and the everydau. The cut off mountain doesn't really concern me; the action is in the foreground. Link to comment
je ne regrette rien 67 Posted February 11, 2012 It's definitely true that the "action" is in the foreground, nevertheless the background occupies over half of the entire frame, which is a lot.I care of the background because I think it is very important when it comes to defining the overall context of this extremely interesting and compelling picture.L.
