The mellow tone of the hunt is present in the photo. The mood is calming and the subject is easily focused on. I really Love this shot and if you look at the deer closely, the head may be turned but it seems like he may be Looking straight at you. Great Capture my friend.

EXcellent trophy - 6! One minor thing is that distracted blur spot in right lower corner - maybe crop it out?

Harry, the limited color in this is really nice allowing the stag to blend appropriately to it's surroundings. I also like how the background grasses imitate the shapes of the antlers. 

How did you get him to pose for you like this? Very nicely done.

A wonderful shot Harry. I like the soft browns, reds, and oranges. The colours of the stag were certainly designed for camouflage. He blends in with the background so beautifully. I like his stance, the turned head with the alert eyes. His antlers are beautiful. He looks like he is posing for the camera. I am glad I looked at this larger, I can appreciate the good focus. How do you like you Sigma lens?
