mitch_gordon 0 Posted June 10, 2003 Very nice. Tried to do a similar shot recently but could not get it to work out. I like your photo Link to comment
nicolasray 0 Posted June 11, 2003 This print for a split second, through me off. Truly unusual shot, love it. It has an un-natural feel to it. The hippo appears very calm and graceful - splashes of color add interest. Great print. Link to comment
Robert DeCandido PhD 10 Posted June 11, 2003 The fish are mouth-brooders from one of the east African Lakes. By the look of the species, the fish are species of Cichlidae (African Cichlids) from Lake Malawi around the Cape Maclear area. Hippos are common, dangerous; fish are extraordinary. rdc Link to comment
miller1 0 Posted June 13, 2003 This is a cool shot Bob, or is it Cactus? At first I thought it was 2 photo's PS'd, then I read your explaination. Good Job. 5/7 Elizabeth Link to comment
steve coburn 0 Posted June 25, 2003 Great photo with surreal colours! The focus seems a little bit too near the foreground of the shot, but considering the circumstances I think we could forgive you for that :-) Link to comment
mmmee 0 Posted July 1, 2003 Good shot. I am glad I opened this thumbnail. The fish interfere with the view of the hippo somewhat though. I guess you cannot make them move. I understand that these underwater shots are hard to do. Link to comment
