These are difficult flowers to photograph and for me I find the background distracting. You could try having only the flower in the frame and also from a higher angle with a fairly shallow DOF and the stamen in focus. Or else have a plain backgorund, black works well.

It is nevertheless a beautiful flower and a good capture of it.

I agree with Geoff Feldon. The back ground is a bit distracting to me. I love the detail however inside of the flower. Its a bit hard to see the stigma (I think that's what it is called), but I'm not sure what method to use to fix that. Hope this helps - Lex
