I'm looking for crop suggestions so feel free to upload your thoughts on

what works best for you. You can also tell me what you think, in general,

about my rare attempt at candid people photography. If you click her she'll

get bigger! :) Thanks for looking.

Just crop a bit of the left side to the point where the houses begin, and level the image (horizontal). Like he pose, one eye closed the other wide open. Dof is good, the unsharpness of the background ads well. May be the feet  on the ground visible??

Best wishes for 2012 and kind regards,

Herman

Something like this??

Not annoyed at all, that was the whole point of asking.  I do like the crop and the conversion but a couple things stand out to me... by leveling the horizon the subject now seems to be leaning forward and while I like the black and white conversion, I think I prefer the muted tones of the original.

Thanks for taking the time to offer your thoughts.  The attached image is my favorite crop... So far.

Thanks Ken, I think I'm going to try my crop and Herman's B & W.  Still kind of like the color version but it's not getting any love.

Anyone able to tell what kind of camera she was using?
