WJBrowning 0 Posted December 28, 2011 Great shot love the frames within frames. Models pose is perfect for this shot. Well seen and executed. Best wishes William Link to comment
harlequin 0 Posted December 28, 2011 Fun Shot. I might have preferred her hands in a down position. Maybe just a little vertical adjustment. - Charles Link to comment
gsphotoguy 3 Posted December 28, 2011 I too like the way the near wall winds up looking like a matte over the inner image. Her pose, with the natural light, also works very well. Link to comment
fotokrelles 0 Posted December 29, 2011 Thank you for comments!Regarding hands down and vertical adjustment. We tried hands down; however, I didn't like the curves of the belly of that shot [Edith was moving her body too], so it has to be this [as location is about 6 hour drive from where we live and takes a ferry trip as well - so no quick "redo"]. Vertical adjustment is a tricky part here. If you look at the very background, you'll notice the horizon. I wanted that to be where it is now - approximately one third from bottom and at the same time - not intersecting any main lines [curves] of the body [shoulders or the top of the belly]. I like the asymmetric "framing" but shall investigate more symmetric composition next time. Hope my explanation helps. Link to comment
harlequin 0 Posted December 30, 2011 After further examination, no vertical adjustment is needed. Horizon line is straight. The shapes are what are slightly off, but all of the horzontals are level. - Charles Link to comment
