Nicely composed, the tree balances the "empty" area on the right side perfectly. I do, however, agree wit RJ Edwards that a white spot removal makes a difference (quite a big one, actually).

I like the converging ridgelines, fading light from left to right, placement of the tree silhouette, and the fact that the tree's trunk is still plainly visible against the mountain in the background.  That makes for a very nice composition.  I also agree with Richard about the small point of light -- it commands way too much attention and would be better if it weren't seen.
