Not a great fan of wildlife in B&W, I must admit that the dynamics of this image are very strong.

I grew up in Zimbabwe (Rhodesia back then) but left in 1974. I didn't realise that this type of wildlife policing still existed there.

I am and I always was very much impressed by elephants, their strenght, stamina and look, their intelligence and social skills, so the picture reflects it, at least that really was the intention. The elephants, rhinos and all the wildlife didn't have it very easy in Zim during the last decade - for obvious reasons, I suppose. I hope things will get better.
