Thanks for your inputs. I also felt the same. There was very poor light when I took the shot. Maybe sepia would have been better.

It doesn't just feel dark, it is dark.  But for me personally, that is the main attraction of the photograph.  I really like the relatively faint outlines of the mountains, and the colors of light purple and copper-gold are wonderful.  I think the vignetting is a bit heavy in the upper corners, and the photo might benefit if these were lighter.  However, I still like the subtle presentation and colors of the overall scene -- it's a nice alternative to how such scenes are usually presented.

Thanks for your inputs. Photography is like film making, the director or photographer intends to see through the eyes of others, sometimes it appeals sometimes it s not. It all depends on how you look at things. Regards.
