It's quite a long time since my previous comments. As a returning viewer of this photo I better type some thoughts.

Although this photo is not as odd, mysterious or personal as most of yor work this seemingly straight photo had quite strong initial impact on me. First I thought I were looking at a partially torn poster, such fooling effect this green top in shadow caused together with the flat illuminated face of the steep. After focusing my eyes some more the circumstances opened. You really managed to confuse me, Drew, and that's a good thing - time to time. ;-)

While I'm here I wish you all the best for this 2012. I happened to notice one of your comments elsewhere that showed you are on recovery (longis comment), so I really hope anyway. Further I want to thank you for your continuous support, highly appreciated.

I must add that your Favorites folder is a true gold mine, a rare place to discover interesting PN fellows, something otherwise quite hopeless to manage. Makes me wonder how long time you spend around to scan all them?

the perspective you have chosen tells an eloquent story - one can appreciate why this lighthouse was built here... foreboding in the full glare of the sun
