After my photo taking leave of absence, I've found that I need to become reaquainted with my favorite films. This is from a technical test of IR film.

THIS is your shot. I really like the composition. That black sky is really something with that white foilage.

 

I wish there was a tad more contrast in the foilage though.

Definitely the best of the series in my mind, the surreal coloration of the trees, the wisp of cloud or smoke and the ominous tower leering into the frameErector Set Godzilla! This is makes me want to shoot some IR, it completely compliments the subject.

Thank you for just smashing the title into my head. You must have a bug in my flat. I just said to someone the other day. "Yeah, this shot is like a metal monster, looks kind of like those erector set things." No KIDDING! I don't know why it didn't just come to me. But now the universe just threw you at me. Got the point. Title changed. :)

And that little wisp of cloud NOW looks to me like "Godzilla" just took a step.
