After my photo taking leave of absence, I've found that I need to become reaquainted with my favorite films. This is from a technical test of IR film.
There are six other shots from this roll that I have posted. On Metal & Sky No. 2 & No. 3 you will see where the title came about. (An airplane flew into the frames. I cropped those two to change the composition. But I am considering leaving them full frame. I'm not sure if I like the plane closer to the tower as in #2 or further away as in #3).
I have updated this shot with a different frame from the same shoot. I've left it nearly full framed; I cropped to 8x12 so I lost some. I chose this one because I feel it shows better contrast in the trees on the lower left. And the overall composition, I think, is more pleasing to the eye. Especially the swirling clouds above the tower. You can see the original choice below.
Also, I'll probably end up renumbering the titles in the future.
