Long Creek Falls Appalachian Trail, North Georgia

I took some friends backpacking along the AT to Long Creek Falls. I used up about 3 rolls of film on this one section. With fall at a minimum peak, few colors stayed in the trees for long. After climbing around the pool at the base of the falls, I noticed a gathering of color on rock ledge. I composed using a 24-50mm lens and took the resulting photograph. SS
