This one caught my eye while looking at random uploads. Couldn't let this one pass without a comment. Looks like Anna P. beat me to it, but now I know I'm in good company, and must have good taste!

Very, very, very beautiful Alberto. I promised to myself to visit your country I know trough the writers especially some places that made a part of the history of the 20th century...

Splendid! That sky and those trees near the foreground give this photo a painterly feel that I really like. Then, the contrast between the very bright amapolas (don't know how are those flowers called in English) and stones and the darker trees of the background, which end in the again bright sky is something that keeps me examining the photograph for a while.

Pues eso, muy buena foto con muy bonitos y vivos colores, y además bien compuesta. ¡Qué más se puede pedir!

Un saludo,

Superb shot, Alberto. Just a shame about the dark patch of cloud at the top left centre. Otherwise a perfect picture of a very beautiful scene. Good work! Regards, Chris.

Dramatic sky and peaceful ground. Muy buena foto, colores vívidos y contrastados, paisaje agradable y con varios planos. Estoy de acuerdo con el comentario que te hacen de que mejoraría (todavía más) suprimiendo el trozo oscuro de la nube en el centro. Muy bien.

Alberto,I also could not pass this one up without a comment.Overall composition works for me but I would definitly remove via PS that light brown patch of dirt on left front corner...very distracting.

The fact that this image was handheld shows in the loss of detail from middle of composition to horizon line,DOF is just not as good as it could be.Still acceptable considering.

Your foreground colors are the strong point of this image Alberto, especially the lovely lit up greens. The reds are almost too saturated, becoming shapeless blobs of color.Did you pump up the reds somewhat?IMO the use of Velvia or Provia would have given you a more balanced color palette thruout but I still like your end results.

I agree with the earlier comment regarding the dark patch of cloud,it attracts too much attention.Overall a good solid landscape that deserves the attention.Well done!

i find the composition to be a bit weak and the color to be strange. While the mountain in the background is interesting and the foreground foliage is interesting, they detract from each other since they are not brought into an interesting relationship. as for the color, there isn't a good black and some of those plants are WAY oversaturated, Those red flowers are just flat red blobs to me.

Hello Alberto:

An impressive scene that has been nicely composed. Perhaps just a hair short of perfect -- a tripod and touch of restraint with the saturation slider, and your Los Grelos landscapes will make Valter jealous.

I appreciate such a long string of praises after nearly 3 months without posting any photos. You boost my morale, fellas!

As you notice this was made without any further pretension. Just taking advantage of a beautiful sunset. I didn't use my tripod or my slides, jmust a very ordinary Kodak Gold. As many of you discovered I did use Photoshop to enhance it, but not thru saturation but thru selecting the sky and using levels to add some more drama...

I love the saturated colours in this photo. I think it suits the composition beautifully. Wow, I live in Paris where everything is grey (even though the city is wonderful). I think that's why I seek my colours elsewhere!
