GailAnthonyHarmer 6 Posted December 7, 2011 The original shot for this image was one of a Deep Purple Clematis. Having not posted for awhile, I've felt 'out of touch'. I'm working on other images but in the meantime, thought I'd work on an Abstract Composition. My inspiration (referring to the title) was one of 'my scattered thoughts' during this time of year, busy getting ready for Christmas, decorating, sending out my cards, making my lists and checking them 'thrice'!!! I love gathering with family at Christmas, and I love making gifts, or choosing ones for those I love most. Nothing 'over the top' just a wee reminder to them of my affection. This year will truly be different as this is my 'Mother's First Christmas in Heaven'. For those of you who do not share a belief in a Heaven, please induldge me. I've been thinking a lot of my Mom and how Special She made our Christmas's. There was 'little money' but a whole 'Bunch of Love'. I think my fondest memory of these Magical Times was the 'LOVE'. Thanks for your visit, Gail Link to comment

Art X Photography 1 Posted December 10, 2011 As always creative work. Added to that your match of colour schemes and design and you have another fantastic work of art Gail. I like the balance of colour choice in this. I could be wrong but it seems to differ from your usual 'neutral/ earthy' colour choice. Link to comment

GailAnthonyHarmer 6 Posted December 11, 2011 Hi Art,thankyou very much for those kind words of critique. I'm happy to hear you enjoyed this composition. I think I have used these colours before, but I think this one is more vibrant. Blues, purples, and roses, rather than the oranges. I liked this one as well, nice to change it up a bit.Kind regards, Gail Link to comment
