general photos WM 2

I am working on a new look for marketing. Looking for feedback on

the graphic at the bottom of the photo. What do you think?

I like it a lot, but in other applications. It would be OK as a logo for your stationary, introduction to a web site, on mailings, etc. It's way too distracting, IMO, on a photo, ruins the entire mood, and dominates the sweet image. On a photo, there's no need for a band, and no need for the type (good typeface, by the way) to be in red. I can understand your wanting a watermark, but why not be more subtle. I think the design if fine, though it could all be a little smaller for use on photos and still be readable. Depending on where it's placed and what part of the photo is behind it, I'd make it more of a gray or, at most black, about 2/3 or 1/2 the size, and definitely get rid of the band.
