First day with EOS 10D... very happy with the images so far. Natural

light - outdoor shot, photoshopped for color adjustments. As always -

I appreciate your honest comments. Thanks.

When I first saw this, I thought you had focused incorrectly. But I am starting to like the result. There is still enough sharpness in the model's face so that the softness does not become distracting. The colors almost look cross-processed. Overall quite an intriguing image. Kind regards, m.

I like what you've done. The colors are nice and soft but I would of focused on the eye more made it the main focus.I sure do hope you like your new camera!I'm thinking about buying the Canon 10D or the Nikon D100?Still have'nt decided?

A number of you have mentioned the EYE not being in focus. Perhaps I should have explained - the shot was in-fact taken with the HAIR as the main focal point, as you can see that there was more attention paid to the hair in preparation. What draws me to this image is the fact that I managed to get the focus out of the middle of the frame and to accent the 'true focal point'. Though I understand the comments and Thank you for taking the time.

i understand what you were trying to do, but in including the eye within the image, i think that takes away from the focus on the hair, since, by natural reaction (for me, at least), i'm drawn to the eye off the bat.

I like this photo, but maybe the eye might be sharper. Maybe the unsharpness of the eye is your intention. But it is still a good photo!

I think this is my favorite in this folder. You really captured an innocense that makes this shot, wherever the focal point is.
