Cold Emerald Bay

Eagles Falls in Emerald Bay during a snow storm in Lake Tahoe. I had

planned on shooting this location with a sun burst and lots of light

but on the drive up the weather man changed his mind overnight. You

may not get what you're hoping for but maybe something else is worth a

try or even better! This was shot shortly after the meeting with the

porcupine

This is a fantastic shot, with beautiful cold tones.

This rendition is a fresh interpretation, moody, and a real nice change from the countless sunrise versions out there.  Normally a high contrast scene at sunrise, this light helps simplify the scene and your selection of the viewpoint is also new for me.  Way cool.
