Rome: Screening the city

What an odd picture, the image standing in for the real thing. The light suspended from the electrical line brings us back to the real world.

What makes this one for me is the intrusion of the corporeal upon the illusion.

This one is definetly my favorite in you roman gallery. You are a real illusionist!

This kind of life size canvas around buildings under renovation are quite common. Here the street lamp and it's wire across the street appealed me as that wire mimicked the seam on the canvas. It was a no-brainer to aling that lamp over the cross. Consider done.
