Eyes of a Child

It isn't my area of expertise, but I do like the portrait. Maybe it's the way the little girl is dressed up, or maybe it's the look in her eyes and expression. But I do find myself wondering what she sees. I might have liked it better in color though. Just a thought

The little girl's expression and bady language are very good, but the background is distracting.

What do air connditioners have to do with the photo. Possibly a higher shutter speed and a larger aperture would have helped.

Hi Sal,

Unfortunately it wasn't a posed photo. So I had to take it in a instant, then it was gone. When using a Classic camera, you don't always have the same options you do with Auto Focus SLRS

 

 

The background is a little distracting, but the expression and body language are great. Could you dodge the background maybe?

I disagree with the comment about the eyes; I think they're lovely. As far as the background: it's a context, a location in time and place. Perfect Pictures of Perfect Little Girls are on advertisements and calendars everywhere, they come and go and they have no story to say. Might as well take a picture of a shirt button. This pic would be prettier with a blurred or darkened background, but maybe not better.
