Street Light

I like this, but not the left side.  You have gold nearly everywhere, and then the left side adds a streetlamp, lots  more blue sky, a much more clearly visible concrete barrier, green grass,  some very white tree trunks, and some orphaned branches on the left edge.  If you have only this image, I think you ought to work with everything to the right of the streetlamp.  If you can re-shoot, consider concentrating on the ground and the lower portions of these trees from the midline to the right.  It's great color, and that expanse of fallen leaves is striking.

Here is crop that shows only gold color. In this image I wanted to show the scene as you would see in late evening with street lights on. A bit of natural feel when you can see the blue sky. I was thinking of cloning out the street lamp but then left it there so that the color of street light is visible. The crop is different image with bit more artistic style. It was quite windy, so I shot few more to get sharp leaves but from same position. On right side there is a walk way with neutral color. Reshooting is not possible... it was shot a month back.

Sandeep, as I was writing my comments, I was thinking that this is your photo and not mine, and that perhaps I was saying too much.  I still don't know if my comments were warranted.  I like your edited version because it is more cohesive, more of a singular subject, and more pleasing to the eye, but that's my opinion.  I guess you now have to step back and ask yourself which version is best expressing what you wanted to take away from this location.

Around here, the grounds crews sweep up the leaves far too quickly.  I wish they would leave them on the ground longer for photographers.  We once had an early snowfall, and bright yellow leaves like this were falling on a layer of white; that was a great autumn.

Discussion is always good. The fun part is, after talking to you, I like the photo now. It was actually sitting on my hard disk for a month without processing because I did not care about it much. Yesterday when I looked at it again I realized it has some street light effect, so it is not just another fall image :)

Interesting landscapes shots have multiple images hiding inside them. Different crops show different things and they are all good images. In that sense I am bit lazy about crops, I just present what was originally shot :) The crop you like is also nice image with everything in gold color and I will put it out as separate image. A third crop of only the leaves on the ground is also possible.

Yellow leaves on snow will be excellent. We have no snow here, so it may be green christmas for us.
