Photographed in Toronto during August 21 storm, these clouds looked vicious. There were tornado touch downs in city outskirts. Rain and lightening strikes hit the city for about three hours. There was one fatality.

This is 85mm shot from distance of about 5km. The size of clouds is 2km in vertical direction and 3.5km in horizontal. The numbers are approximate since clouds are three dimensional and not in a vertical plane above the buildings. Critique and rating welcome.

I think the changes you've made to make the city more visible have helped considerably.  Not only do they help with the sense of scale, but they also add the human element to this storm, something that a few silhouettes of buildings couldn't do.  Even though this area has been lightened by the edits, it hasn't detracted from the power of the clouds.  I think you've done an excellent job in your processing, and those are very dramatic clouds over the city.

Dramatic sky! Here I personally feel that those dark corners at both lower end should also have some light like the middle part or otherwise to be croped a bit (IMHO).I liked the B&W tone here.

My best regards.

My sincere thanks to everybody for providing comments and ratings. Stephen helped with foreground details, so thanks Stephen again.

There is another interesting thing about this photo. If you look carefully in center towards the top, you will see a small object. I enlarged it to see what it is. Looks like a commercial plane since Toronto airport is close by. Just something more to get a sense of scale, the plane takes up 0.6% of pixels in horizontal direction.
