Lars, I've looked at this one several times. As has already been said, I love the minimalism and the softness to this photo. I keep being bothered by the pole being in exact center. I've asked myself if it's because of some pre-conceived "rule"? I'm not really sure, but what I can say is that the centered-ness of the pole is unsettling to me every time I view it. Interesting.... Having said that, I really do like this shot very much. Perhaps the dichotomy of the calmness against my discomfort with the centered pole is what's bringing me back.

I do like the simplicity of this image and as mentioned by Les, Cal and Amy quite often less in an image draws you towards it more ... if that makes sense ...

It's now one of my favourites anyway.

Lars, this photograph has such a distinctive style and is expressing such an individual vision that I don't think I can make any meaningful comment except to say that if it was one of similar images in a book of photographs, I'd buy the book.
