g1 0 Posted June 5, 2003 Hi Garth. This scan is much improved! The clouds are whiter, and there is more separation between yellows, reddy golds, and greens amongst the hay. Now I can get past the problem of colour casting I can see the picture itself much better. I was quite surprised to see so much detail in the shadows, and the light is almost luminous. What time of day was this shot? Great sky, lovely staggered distances between the haystacks, and the complimentary colours of blue/yellow have all contributed to make this a strong photo. garthsaloner 0 Posted June 5, 2003 This was taken mid-morning (about 10 am) heading west from Segovia. Saw this scene out of my side window on a busy road - almost didn't stop, but I'm very glad I did. I also got a shot I really like with my 35mm on a less saturated film of two of my daughters sitting on top of this front haystack with the same sky behind them. Link to comment

pns 0 Posted June 6, 2003 may be its ultra50 or the bad scanning or whatever, but a Cyan sky...? Otherwise, a phenomenal shot. Link to comment

dominiquedodge 0 Posted June 7, 2003 Yeah, well worth the rescan. The colours look natural and a bit surreal at the same time. Did you use any filter for that sky? Very good aesthetics. I like the way there is a lot of movement in the clouds balanced against the static masses of the haystacks. Link to comment
