City Flower

This is my first submission to Photo.net. Please offer your comments. I

have recently begun using a digital Canon T2i camera and this is my first

evening shot.

Sandy, welcome to PN.

I like the concept of having a single flower in the middle of a city scene. The dark grass as the immediate background around the flower gives good contrast. The biggest improvement I would suggest is getting the flower in better focus. That may require using a tripod or someting else to hold the camera steady for a long shutter speed.

The best way to learn is to try the same shot again to see if you can improve it with any new knowledge you obtain.
