Pierre, what a beautiful little face. Those sad eyes are heartbreaking. A very sweet and tender image. I followed your link to you daughter's site and enjoyed her work. She certainly has flare and style, hmmmmm, wonder where that came from?

Linda, I was trying to teach her photography , but no effects of that! Furthermore she never liked my pictures, I wasn't her idol in that regard, nor I'm now! She had and has her own way absolutely independently of mine!

Pierre, when I looked at the thumbnail, I was touched by the pathos in her look. I have viewed Mila's portfolios . I must say that she has done the correct thing to follow her own style. I liked her images very much .She has photography in her genes.

I noticed this photo from the day you posted it. It reminds me of a photo of my wife when she was a child. The same dark eyes (I've got in love with) and some sort of maturity unusual for such a young age.

I don't know anything about your daughter but I feel like she is part of the family already and I'd give anything to see her smiling again!

Great family photo and, I'm sure, a very dear memory for both of you.

By the way, who said that talent cannot be inherited? Your daughter proves it otherwise. Very good portfolio; without disregarding the rest, I like her still life photos very much - retro and... original.

I followed your daughter's link, and I really loved her work.  From this image it's apparent that your daughter has wonderful facial features, and I'm sure by now she's a beauty.  And she certainly has an eye for beauty in her images.  Very classy style and beautifully produced images.   Thanks for sharing this with us.

A touching photo actually, well done. 

A lovely photo of your 'little angel' now - a very accomplished photographer (loved her 'site' !).  She has that 'tearful tired'  look that toddlers so often have during the course of any day. Great timing on your part.

She gives a photographer's look! Pierre, my younger daughter's name is Mila too!

Pierre, not only a great shot, but I just spent the last 45 minutes looking at her website and enjoyed her work tremendously.  Like father, like daughter.

This photo reminds me of carrying my own children when they were tired.  In that way it evokes wonderful memories.

Thank you so much for sharing your daughters photo site. I am recovering from back surgery and needed something to take my mind off of just being stuck here in Kansas and not being able to even drive. Being home bound is giving me time to at least look and learn from others on line.  Great work on her part she has a very good eye and perspective and a very inspiring web design.
