A very nice perspective on this marvelous frog.

The entire line on Micro Nikkor lens (which I have in my collections) are fine lens.

The older, manual Micro Nikkor 55 F/2.8 (which there are several versions) have wonderful optical performance. Their best performance levels are found between F/2.8 and F/5.6.

I normally shot all of my macro lens wide open for the maximum benefit that they can deliver to the image plane. However, the use of F/8 still provides a nice pictorial result in this case.

Beautifully captured! The definition in the eye is great and the composition is very nice as well. I like the colours and different hues of green and yellowish green.
