Sunset Reflection at Joshua Tree

Edited a few photos from the Joshua Tree workshop over the weekend. We

had a small group and I had one cancellation due to the weather. A

little bit of rain in the desert wouldn't hurt anyone, the dramatic

weather created a lot of unusual opportunities for us to photograph

such as fog in the high desert, dramatic sunsets / sunrises and little

pockets of water in many different places. These little pools are also

known as "tanks" if they get big enough but this shot here is much

smaller. Don't run from the weather that's only bring goodness with it!

Amazing reflects over the pool, and beautiful light. Congratulations. 

Beautiful comp and colors.  The contrast of smooth rock and water jumbled background rock works very well.  So true about bad weather, leads to the most dramatic lighting.
