I'm not sure it was the right time to shoot: You have two people quite far and close to each other, so close it almost looks like a man with three legs. The place looks interesting though.

Thanks Yann.  I never taught about a 3 legs man.  I don't know if I like this picture for the colors or because it reminds me a such a nice place.  Some may find it a bad composition but I don't, well I'm not sure.  That is why comment are appreciated.

Interesting capture, Richard. I quite like the spareness, colors and textures in the photo ( especially the effect of the turquoise/blue against the sand color) Wonder what this would look like if cropped square...? (eliminating part of the LHS, & thus placing the two figures in the far off-center left) But I like it as is already too :-)   best, Marjolein

Marjolein : Thanks for your suggestion.  I tried it square but it did not fit my eye. I did move the guys out left.  By doing those manipulations, I realize there is different to look at it.

Thanks again.  As for which one I prefer, I'll need to think about it.

Richard, what an amazing place Badwater is. I think theinclusion of the people gives a sense of scale. I took a few images while there and havenot yet quite decided on them. Nice work.

Best Regards Richard
