One of the most outstanding views of the valley I've seen. I've seen many.  Well done!

Mark- It doesn't get much beter than this.  The look of winter without the strougle of deep snow to get to some locations.  The only questionable part of the image for me is the dark patch of sky in the ULC of the sky.  Looks too dark and out of place compared to the rest of the sky.  No wonder why this is a world famous view, and you have brought out the wonder during these conditions.  I miss the Sierras!  Congrats.

Nature shows its beauty only to those who search it! This is great example! Of course combined with masterful work - being there is not everything! From my point of view, you have on left side some textures that are not in harmony with textures and style of the rest, but that's really minor point. Congratulations, Mark - outstanding! And besides viewing large, in needs to be printed really large to be fully appreciated!

This work is like a precious stone / gem. You made a pretty long trip up there from Bakersfield but were more than rewarded. I know this view, hence I can imagine.

The image is good and the option suggested by Jeff is interesting of course. My topic is about the blue tonality that the trees looks like to have.I'm not sure about that because I'm infront of a screen maybe not good calibrated.I practice Alpinism during  20 years and always the snow under shadow light conditions like this has the typical dominat blue .I attached to you a new vision with less blue color aprox -20% to try to decrease a bit this topic. Thanks in advance.Best regards and concrats for this image.Yosemite is always a jewel under any weather condition.

Thanks to Gaetan, Wanghan, Javier, Zsolt Simay, Lefty, Leo, J. Harrington, Ron, Harry, Vardan, Volker and Mario! J., you're probably right, but I'm from the camp that doesn't like watermarks marring an image. Ron, I think the image may actually be flopped, lol! Harry, I see the sky gradation, but I haven't introduced any vignetting or done any manipulation. The sun is rising to the right, so the sky should be darker at left. I'm thinking of cropping the whole left side based upon several comments, along with Vardan's. Mario, I actually prefer to keep the blue, in keeping with the cold nature of the scene and preserving the ambient feel of the atmosphere. Thanks for the suggestion!!
