LenMarriott 9 Posted April 6, 2012 Good to have your take on this favourite of mine. I can't put my finger on it but some scenes just seem to sing in one mode or the other. In this case B&W works best for me too. I'm happy to have the option of one or the other, something that is available in digital or colour film. What sours me on colour film is the condition in which the labs (generally all) return the film. I seldom (never?) get back a film that isn't full of dust or chemical stains. Point for digital, possibly another nail in the coffin of film labs. Best, LM. Link to comment
Pierre Dumas 285 Posted April 9, 2012 Definitely the BW one is better, has all it takes, wonderful environment, wide array of beautiful BW tones and inner framing with the tree on the right! I wish I had chances to do pictures like this one, it takes time and vehicle which I don;t have! Great is the mixture of lights and shadows!Best regards Len!PDE Link to comment
LenMarriott 9 Posted April 9, 2012 Thanks for the validation. We'd all like to expand our horizons a bit at times but you have a talent for digital manipulation that has many followers. Always a treat to see how your latest creation tickles the imagination. Many are inspired by your results. Your lack of time and a vehicle hasn't hurt your offerings. Best, LM. Link to comment
