landscapes Rannoch Gold
Rannoch Moor, Glencoe, Scotland.Late autumn progresses inexorably toward winter and the first frosts which stiffen the golden grasses of Loch na Stainge on Rannoch moor. I am faced with a superb clear morning with not a breath of wind to disturb the mirror smooth surface and the whole scene is complemented by a laser blue sky flecked with cloud. Traditional landscape photography it most certainly is, but in idyllic circumstances like this there is no excuse not to do this wonderful scene full justice.Pentax 67 II ,55-100 zoom,Fujichrome VelviaPolariser, 0.45ND grad, f/22 at 1/4 second.
