willem_dijkstra 1 Posted June 1, 2003 An infrared picture as layer on top of a color version, blending mode luminosity. Link to comment
johnlund 0 Posted June 2, 2003 I followed the links on your other posting to see the source files on pbase.com -- I'm fascinated by the color-IR composite/blending you're doing. This one is lovely. I find that viewing a few IR images at a time is about all I can take before the effect grows tiresome to me, but this composite is subtle. Very creative. Congratulations on your success. vishwa 0 Posted June 2, 2003 like the fairy tale like setting that you managed to bring about in this image. I too checked out the other such images you have in pbase (through your photosig posting) and was very impressed at what can be done. Thanks for sharing. Link to comment
nomade 1 Posted June 4, 2003 Another interesting work. Maybe I'm beeing a tad picky, but the bright cloud above is kind of distracting... but its reflection on the water is fine! Maybe you can recover some of the details from any of the original shots, or just burn in this one. Link to comment
robert_tilden1 0 Posted June 6, 2003 Best of both worlds, IR for dramatic skys without sacrificing color. Digital IR is a great improvement over film as far as I'm concerned. Still, we are just learning to use it well. This picture is an example of aesthetics and originaly using a relatively new technology. Link to comment
