First time I see Baalback in B&W. Interesting. 

I probably would have preferred less imposing columns in the foreground, maybe a vertical crop... 

I like the shot. The B & W add to the historical aspect of the picture. The only thing to me that takes away from the shot in the light coming through the two left columns. Overall, it a is a great shot. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks Gene and Cesar for your valuable comments, I think a vertical crop will work better. Beside the framing, i was also trying to show the huge size of the colomns in the foreground and show that i was shooting between another columns and not a regular gate (which i may lose if i do a tight vertical crop). Anyway, thanks for your critiques, it made me think about the croping again :)

Saadi:  It's an interesting crop.  I think the pictures is a little muddy.  I tried lightening up a little to give it a little "pop" and to add back some detail in the column.  Nice shot.

Thanks for your comment and the new version, I was thinking that darkening the foreground will pop up the background, but it seems that enlightning the foreground a bit is not a bad idea. I will work out with my other exposure and see if i can generate a better version.
