james_mccormick 0 Posted October 27, 2011 My goodness Jim, where do you find your models? I'm having trouble finding more than one!! I really like thids one, I assume this was a candid shot? She has a lovely thoughtful expression and I like how the light is falling on her left side. My only comment would be the hotspot on the end of her nose. Is there any way you could bring the brightness of that spot down a touch just so the eye isn't drawn to it? Link to comment

john_nell 609 Posted October 27, 2011 Thanks Niki,Ruud for your good comments.James,I guess I must be lucky sometimes. Point & shoot cameras quite often the highlights are washed out in sunshine out so I cannot fix that. John Link to comment

Guest Guest Posted October 28, 2011 If the foreground hand would have been a strong hairy hand, it would have been a work of art...B/W a plus.I will not quote Napoleon Bonaparte but instead I will perceive it as stated.Congrats John ! Link to comment
donna pallotta 108 Posted October 29, 2011 this young woman (too young for comfort, i might add, John) is treated here like eye candy. it's shameful. time and time again ad nauseam, John, your photos turn an innocent playful scene of delightful young women (always young, sometimes, as i say, far too young) and frame them as you wish to in your personally interpretive viewer to twist them into sneaky soft porn. you should pause pressing that shutter of yours, John... pause the shudder, so to speak... until you can capture more respectfully and deservedly dignified portraits and scenes of innocent spirited young women. you show that you understand NOTHING about the true nature of young girls and young women, or of any women for that matter, because the only way you can see to represent them is to twist their bliss into dirty schoolboy jokes. i suggest that you avoid these exploitative angles of yours that so obviously pollute the sweet spiritedness of scenes that are delightful in real life... delightful, until you cast your joking eye candy personal focus on them. these are my feelings, John; your photos upset me, and i felt it my duty as another PNer to express myself to you. dp Link to comment
