Inspiration Point First Light (View Larger)

The sun was just about 5 minutes from clearing the horizon but the

Hoodoos were already beginning to reflect light and radiant their

colors. Because this was just the start of the sunrise I was able to

contain this image in one exposure, which would be impossible a minute

or two later.

Perfect timing on this. There are so many pictures of the Utah desert that look very unrealistic due to the overwhelming reds, but you caught this very beautiful and evocative scene at just the right time. Thanks for sharing!
