1000wordsphotography 0 Posted May 31, 2003 One day late for the reflection assignment. Well... that's typical of me. Either too late or too early! Wait up .... it is still May as of today. I have been on vacation and lost track of the dates! Isn't that as it should be when you are vacationing? lol Link to comment
peter_daalder 0 Posted May 31, 2003 I guess it is all in the colours... Very much like this image, but for some strange reason it made me think of one of Hanna Cowpe's highest rated images... Link to comment
1000wordsphotography 0 Posted May 31, 2003 I take that as a compliment Peter. (Not sure if it was meant as one). Hanna has been gracious in giving me advice on improving my reflection shots. Her superior skills are hopefully rubbing off on this novice. Link to comment
fred_j._lord 0 Posted May 31, 2003 The colors and the shapes are wonderful. The saturation is intense and the collective hues are quite complementary. Good work! Link to comment
peter_daalder 0 Posted June 1, 2003 Yes, it was meant to be a compliment, Regina. The fact that I highlighted Hanna's image in my previous comment was purely coincidental. I had no idea that she might have been providing you with any advice. Anyway, it is a terrific result and I thank you for posting it here... Link to comment
wenger 0 Posted June 1, 2003 Nice shot with wonderful colors. The red has me especially intrigued... what the heck is it? Link to comment
bill_staples 0 Posted June 1, 2003 the colors and wave patterns are very nice, regina. I haven't taken a reflection shot in some time, this photo inspired me to start looking! Link to comment
1000wordsphotography 0 Posted June 1, 2003 This is the bow of a shrimp boat reflected in the harbor waters. The red is a net and some metal pipes. It was early AM, the boat had just pulled into the marina and folks were lined up on the pier to purchase the fresh catch. Link to comment
c. valdez 0 Posted June 2, 2003 Great color and reflection. I like the red and the "window" mid right. Link to comment
jim schwaiger 0 Posted June 3, 2003 Incredibly interesting - I'll go far as to say it's the best reflection abstract yet! Link to comment
michael_ward1 0 Posted June 3, 2003 The colors are spectacular, but it's the composition that makes this work. Just the right elements made their way into this image. Link to comment
