Hi Mike,

Overall, I like this portrait shot. The skin tones are pretty even and the background doesn't have any distractions. There's only one harsh shadow under her hair on the right. This tends to merge (visually) with her hair.

Possible improvements?

- Softer Lighting/Flash next time?

- The leaning forward pose with F/1.4 kinda makes her body disappear (especially her right shoulder/arm which isn't so elegant). The hat also seems to be sharper than her eyes/face. I've only seen f/1.4 when a photographer wants to get the eyes/lips sharp and not much else.

Thanks Mike. I do need to watch the shadows more. As for the 1.4, it was mostly playing around with it. I'll work more on the lighting.
