This is quite a good idea, even if it has been done before, but you've spoiled it quite a bit in my opinion by cutting off the edge of the ball and leaving a little too much space above it so that the hands compete too strongly for my attention.

I agree with Harvey Platter on the negative cropping points but this is still a nicely captured image with great tones.

Good idea but aestethically a couple of things that I don't find pleasing. Cut off part of the ball, a bit of DOF lacking.
