ravi_s 0 Posted October 22, 2011 A well composed shot. The bridge and the person on it gives the scale of the water fall. The flow of water is well captured. There is some motion blur of leaves on the lower bottom corner(i guess this is unavoidable) 7/7 Thanks for sharing Link to comment
randall_miller 3 Posted October 22, 2011 I like the composition. The water is captured and exposed very well and I like the richness of the colors. But all things botanical appear soft, bordering on blurry. Looks a windy day in the Gorge? Link to comment
mcollier 0 Posted October 22, 2011 I agree with Randall, the slow exposure caught the motion of the branches in the wind in the foreground. I think the image is powerful enough that it overcomes that, and I don't know that I would have noticed it if he hadn't mentioned it. The exposure is wonderful and the person on the bridge really puts the scope of this scene in perspective. Link to comment
mtmixon 0 Posted October 23, 2011 Composition and color are excellent. I, too, agree that the motion of the foreground branches is unfortunate, as it disturbs the otherwise peaceful mood of the scene. Not an easy thing to correct, though. Had you moved to the right more, to avoid having the branch in view, the overall composition would have suffered. Maybe next time you would need to bend the branch to the side. :-) Link to comment
