greg_beams1 0 Posted October 22, 2011 Rod,A really beautiful image. The HDR effects are a bit overdone for my taste but that is purely a personal preference. I really admire the way you habe gotten the feel of the size and scope of the building and you avoided too much slant to the columns, walls, etc. I expect that as a larger image, this looks even more impressive.Nice stuff.Greg Link to comment
rod_melotte 0 Posted October 22, 2011 My monitor is really poor and I need a better one - I've noticed a number of images lately that are a little extreme when printed. I can see why this COULD be a little much. TY Link to comment
snigam 0 Posted October 22, 2011 A fine hdr image. The lighting seems very complicated with stained glass, ceiling, side lights. Fine details show up well. I like the two side paintings. I don't think it is possible to get these details without using hdr. I am interested in which tool was used and how many images.Best wishes... Sandeep Link to comment
rod_melotte 0 Posted October 22, 2011 Sandeep - I have found that 90% of the time 3 images are all you need unless you are shooting into the sun or there is an incredible amount of contrast. Photomatix was the HDR Tool and then final touches in Photoshop. This is much better on the non-internet versions. I've found that HDR actually looks BETTER printed then on a monitor.
