Hi Gail,

Technically you did just fine with your lens.

Often, the rules are much more relaxed for creating images for artistic purposes. Our forefather photographers had no idea about lens, and their results were quite good for the times.

In th eold old days, lens needed to be f-stopped to make them even work . Exposures were long, requiring tripods, etc. Flash were "gun powder explosives" , and people had to remain still for a long period to be imaged.

Much has changed. However, the artistic value, composition, and mood set forth by an image remains a personal expression that best expresses the way we feel or think about some topic.

You have passed a long way in your composition. From the very good florist became better and better.

You are working wit the layers more , your effect use is in higher level, the I have had a possibility to see it in last time. The frames are much decent. The color, the texture and the objects are commonly better balanced. Very good. Ed.
