Good portrait, but did your cousin like being photographed? He looks close and annoyed. Just joking Pierre. I like the image. The shallow DOF is well done. The color you added works too.

Well caught personality and great light!

I like this portrait a lot the way it is.  My adjustment to provide seperation of his head from the background does change the feel of your composition.  His look at the camera is so strong it has good impact and either version works for me.

A very powerful gaze into my soul...he is one strong dude!!! Strong men always intimidate me and he is one of them! I have lots of prictice because  all my uncles were power dudes! Right now I have several co-workers that are similar to your cousin and I am dealing with them in what I feel is a healthy way. I take it one day at a time and face them head on! And at times when they bully me I still don't know what to do! Well I guess I was born this way! Is your cousin a bully? He looks like one to me! Take good care.
