Brown County

Overcast morning in Brown County State Park, Indiana. The fall colors need

another week, but I thought the clouds looked pretty dramatic. Hope you

The sky is very dramatic, color of the forest is great, but photo looks emptx to me. I get the feeling that the photo is separated in two parts. I miss something.

Actually, I like the understated colors in the trees. But as you suggest, it's the cloud formation that makes the image. Aren't we lucky whenever we come across such an event? Especially lucky, I suppose, to have a camera at the ready and the presence of mind to put it to good use. Nicely done!
