Most of the time photographers concentrate on shooting Grand Canal

from the other side of the Rialto. Sometimes the best shot is behind

you! There was just enough movement from the motor boats and ferries

to make the reflection interesting. Regards.

agree with you about the view. this side is more quiet 

something different from Venezia.POV and lighting are excellent. Colors are the plus of this beautiful image , suggesting a peaceful feeling, far away from the chaos,like in a oil painting.In your B&W version, the building on the right seems to me too white or overexposed : consider some burning if you agree.

"burning" is a refuse. I mean "cutting". Just as an experiment, if you like.
