rich_evans 0 Posted May 30, 2003 Laurent - I don't know why, but this image just jumped out at me! The blue and yellow or maybe the contrast of the B&W man - anyway, this would definitely be a hanger for my office. --Rich Link to comment

dominiquedodge 0 Posted May 31, 2003 I like this one much, much more than your palm photo (where I thought, but didn't say, that the frame was overpowering). Here it all clicks together, because it has a "painterly" look. Terrific composition, very good colours. In fact, I can't find one tiny negative thing to say (I usually manage!!). Very original too. So 7 and 7. Thanks for the viewing pleasure. Link to comment
jim_stogdill 0 Posted June 1, 2003 I'm not normally a big fan of partially colored, partially black and white shots, but this one jumped out at me. I think the desaturation of the figure is subtle enough that it works and I really like it. It almost looks like a water color painting. My only comment is that there is a slight halo around the figure where, presumably, he was selected in photoshop to desaturate him. It is hardly noticable here but may be too obvious in a print. alex_telvart 0 Posted June 2, 2003 You could try to remove this halo. Except that, this perfect Link to comment
ilyaxous 0 Posted July 6, 2003 Great capture of the pose inside a frame, I just wish there were more detail in the mans face. Link to comment
