adamgibbsphotography 0 Posted October 11, 2011 The warm glow of last light sets on Mt Macbeth, Tremor and Shudder mountains in the Spearhead Range. Russet Lake is a great location for a quick weekend alpine getaway. Not far from Whistler the most scenic approach is to take the gondola up to the whistler summit and walk along the ridge line over Piccolo the Musical Bumps, Singing Pass and finally the lake itself. There is a little hut located at the lake but I would highly recommend not staying there as it is usually infested with mice. I set up for this shot well before sunset and impatiently waited in a swarm of mosquitoes until the light changed Link to comment
w-j-li 0 Posted October 12, 2011 Fabulous shot with the strong foreground. Magic light, the silky water, the strong contract of the colors... Well composed. Thanks for your description. Learning. Best Regards, Link to comment

Daniel Álamo 0 Posted October 14, 2011 The FG on this is really perfect IMHO. Just some nit in the BG for a perfect one. Clouds feel too pinky and without volume and, personally, I don't like it much. The same waterflow and a next mountain should be perfect. Very well done on it. 6/7. Link to comment
