For sh*ts and giggles you might want to open up in PS and go +64contrast and -100lightness and stamp out all the hair to the right. It's Funky. It also makes her nose look smaller.Your a pro!

I don't see why her nose has to be made smaller under any circumstance. I like the wildness of the hair to the right of her. It gives a sense of movement, combined with the hard lighting. It looks like a film scene where she's confronting a stalker or hearing strange noises in the night. It looks really good!

On my LCD Screen here at work the shot looks a bit blown out in the highlights, but then I hate these stupid LCD screens cause of how they screw with colors and images...

I like this shot a lot, but that may be partly due to the feeling I get that (and you may have done this unintentionally) you've taken a large page out of Rene Assmussen's book, you're mimicing his style here much better than any attempt I've been able to manage.

Anyway, nice job. Take care.

By far best photo of your portfolio, and certainly one of the best portraits I've seen in some time ! Thanks a lot for sharing !

I went into Top-Rated Photographers and your image jumped out of the thumbnails. She has a nice un-posed expression and the lighting suits well. It looks like you asked her to swing her head around and then you pressed the shutter so nothing of itself that is so amazing, but it comes together well with a strong image. I like it.

This is an excellent portrait. Yes, the higglights are blown a bit, and some apparently find faults on the model's nose. First, there is nothing wrong with her nose, second, blown highlights does not take away from the feeling that the image evokes. This is one of the best portraits I have seen on Photo.net. Congratulations.
