Crawling to the water

Hi all

I am in 2 minds about this photo, one moment it looks really

good but other times not. What are your thoughts?

My mind has some difficulties with it.  A large amount of the photo is OOF, and I find that distracting primarily because the main subject just doesn't have a lot of visual appeal or interest to my eye.  For some reason (I think because the rock "opens" on the left) I think the photo might have worked better if the rock had been placed on the right side.

Thanks Stephen for the critique!  I see what you mean by the rock being on the right hand side, it would have brought out more of the sun set colour into the picture, the angle of the rocks make more sense aswell it seems to draw my attention away from the photo.

Well I have my work cut out for me, I will be retaking soon YAY!
